    Cultural Geography, mingled with Anthropology and Sociology, presents in its researches a distinct view on ways of human expressions. Festivities are examples of immeasurable value for decoding a society, its history, challenges, crises, changes and demands are shaped on its forms and evolution.Thus, Carnival can be the largest laboratory for investigating blemishes and social changes of any place, once it makes possible the integration ofhuman beings in the same cosmos. This study can be considered relevant once it aims to show the array of interpretations which Carnival party maypresent to community. It introduces a brief overview on the festivity and some analysis from several geofactors, aiming to offer investigation possibilitieson different focus of the research. Bibliographical compilation was the way chosen to achieve the goal of the research. When the importance of culturalmanifestations is known and understood, the colors, shapes and symbols of human nations pass by artistic-cultural expressions, where a detailed analysis can check man’s hidden desires and willing, and how festivities, in special Carnival, can portray society.

    A Geografia Cultural, mesclada com a Antropologia e a Sociologia, oferece nas suas pesquisas um olhar diferenciado das formas das expressões humanas. As festas são exemplos de imensurável valor para a decodificação de uma sociedade; sua história, desafios, crises, mudanças e reivindicações estão lapidadas em sua forma e evolução. Neste contexto, o carnaval pode ser o maior laboratório de investigações das mazelas e mudanças sociais de qualquer lugar, pois possibilita a integração dos seres no mesmo cosmo. Assim, este trabalho denota-se como relevante, uma vez que tem por objetivo demonstrar a riqueza de interpretações que a festa carnavalesca pode oferecer à comunidade, apresentando um breve histórico sobre a festa e algumas análises a partir de variados geofatores, buscando oferecer uma possibilidade de investigação sobre diferentes enfoques de pesquisa. O caminho trilhado para alcançar o objetivo foi o levantamento bibliográfico. Quando se conhece e compreende a importância das manifestações culturais, as cores, formas e símbolos das ações humanas perpassam a bela expressão cultural artística, onde, com uma análise minuciosa, podemos averiguar as formas de denúncias, desejos e vontades reprimidas dos homens; e as festas, mais especificamente o carnaval, denotam muito do retrato da sociedade.
