    Este artículo dialoga con mi obra previa Historia queer del flamenco (1808-2018), publicada en 2020, fruto de mi tesis doctoral. Desde entonces, la investigación ha generado entrevistas, conferencias y revisiones para su publicación en francés e inglés. Esta nueva etapa me ha llevado a reconsiderar y ampliar cuestiones desarrolladas inicialmente desde la perspectiva de estudios de género y LGTBIQ+. Exploro cómo el flamenco queer ha evolucionado estéticamente en tiempos pre y post-pandemia, destacando su impacto en la sociedad y en el ámbito artístico. Analizo las dinámicas entre la política de género en el arte flamenco y la representación de identidades queer e investigo cómo ciertos artistas han influido en esta re(tro)volución estética, desafiando y reproduciendo, en un mismo gesto, las normas tradicionales a las que se enfrentan.

    This text engages in a dialogue with my previous work Historia queer del flamenco (1808-2018), published in 2020 as a result of my PhD. Since then, the research has led to interviews, conferences, and revisions for its publication in French and English. This new phase has prompted me to reconsider and expand on issues initially developed from the perspective of gender and LGTBIQ+ studies. I explore how queer flamenco has aesthetically evolved in pre- and post-pandemic times, highlighting its impact on society and the artistic field. I analyze the dynamics between gender politics in flamenco art and the representation of queer identities and investigate how certain artists have influenced this aesthetic re(tro)volution, simultaneously challenging and reproducing the traditional norms they confront.
