    El artículo es resultado de una investigación doctoral y del proyecto de investigación Formación de valores identitarios en la sociedad tunera. Ofrece un estudio histórico sobre la formación del valor dignidad pedagógica con énfasis en su dimensión identitaria. Contribuye a determinar insuficiencias en la formación del valor dignidad pedagógica en estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Educación Primaria, que limita su integralidad. El objetivo es esclarecer fundamentos que justifican la necesidad del estudio de este valor en la formación inicial de maestros. La socialización del valor contribuye a enriquecer el proceso formativo, del valor, en colectivos docentes y a la asimilación gradual por los estudiantes. Entre los métodos empleados se destacan el estudio y crítica de fuentes, análisis-síntesis e histórico-lógico en el procesamiento de la información que permiten revelar tendencias y carencias en la formación del valor, desde una dimensión identitaria.

    The article is the result of a doctoral research and the research project Formation of identity values in Tunisian society. Offers a historical study on the formation of pedagogical dignity value with emphasis on its identity dimension. Contributes to determining insufficiencies in the formation of the pedagogical dignity value in students of the Bachelor ́s Degree in Primary Education, which limits its integrality. The objective is to clarify the foundations that justify the need to study this value in the initial training of teachers. The socialization of value contributes to enriching the formative process, of value, in teaching groups and to the gradual assimilation by students. Among the methods used are the study and criticism of sources, analysis-synthesis and historical-logic in the processing of information that reveal trends and deficiencies in the formation of value, from an identity dimension.
