Método didáctico para evaluar el tema biomoléculas en Química Orgánica para Ingeniería Química

    RESUMEN La educación superior cubana actual está llamada a cambiar las formas tradicionales de evaluación, hacia métodos que impliquen la integración de los contenidos, por ello en este trabajo se presenta un método didáctico para evaluar el tema de biomoléculas por medio de un seminario integrador, en la asignatura de Química Orgánica. El objetivo fue aplicar un método de evaluación que permita la integración de contenidos, conforme al perfil de la industria química en el tema de biomoléculas. Para el logro de este objetivo se elaboró una guía de seminario, donde los estudiantes debían realizar la búsqueda de artículos científicos y de bibliografía especializada mediante el trabajo en equipo; integrando los contenidos recibidos en la asignatura; haciendo énfasis en su aplicación en la industria por medio de la identificación de impactos, y exponer los resultados de forma oral. Se realizó un sondeo de criterios con la aplicación de encuestas al 98 % de los estudiantes que recibieron la asignatura, el 97 % de los estudiantes entrevistados consideró que el método le permitió adentrarse en el lenguaje técnico relacionado con su formación, siendo pertinente y conveniente su aplicación durante la formación de pre-grado en varias asignaturas. Mediante este método de evaluación se mostró un modo de integrar el contenido de la asignatura, de manera aplicable y didáctica, facilitando la comprensión y aplicación desde un perfil industrial, aportando herramientas útiles para el desempeño profesional.

    ABSTRACT Actually the cuban higher education, it's called to change the traditional forms of evaluation towards methods, that involve content integration, therefore in this word, was presented a didactic method to evaluate the topic of biomolecules by integrate seminar in the subject of Organic Chemistry; with the objective of apply evaluation method that allows the integration of contents, applicable to the chemical industry for the topic of biomolecules, for the achievement of this objective a seminar guide was designed, the students must search of scientific articles and specialized bibliography, through teamwork, integrating the contents received in the subject, emphasizing it's application in the industry through the identification of impacts and finally will make the oral presentation; In this work a criteria survey was carried out, with the application of surveys to 98 % of the students who received the course, 97 % of the students interviewed considered that the method allowed them to enter into the technical language appropriate to their training, being pertinent and convenient its application during the undergraduate training in several subjects. This evaluation method showed a way to integrate the content of the subject, in an applicable and didactic way, facilitating the understanding and application from an industrial profile, providing useful tools for professional performance.
