    Este artículo analiza una sentencia que discute la legalidad de un listado de artículos de los estatutos de la Real Federación Española de Fútbol aprobados en 2020, ratificados por el Consejo Superior de Deportes e impugnados en vía judicial por la Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. Dado que la impugnación abarca numerosos artículos, el comentario se centrará en aquellos aspectos de mayor relevancia, como es el alcance del control ejercido por el Consejo Superior de Deportes para ratificar normativa interna de federaciones y ligas, las limitaciones que una federación para aprobar disposiciones no expresamente previstas en la ley y las extralimitaciones que se observan en los estatutos y que afectan a las competencias ejercidas por la liga profesional impugnante.

    This article analyses a ruling that discusses the legality of a list of articles in the statutes of the Royal Spanish Football Federation approved in 2020, ratified by the High Council for Sport and challenged in court by the National Professional Football League. While many articles are challenged, the commentary will focus on those aspects with more relevance, such as the scope of the control exercised by the High Council for Sport to ratify internal regulations of sports federations and professional leagues, the limitations that a federation may have when approving certain questions not expressly provided for by law and the overreach observed in the statutes that affect the powers exercised by the challenging professional league.
