El artículo analiza el marco legal aplicable al control económico del fútbol profesional español y expone la necesidad de crear la figura de un regulador público independiente que pueda llevar a efecto las labores de tutela, control y supervisión con independencia e imparcialidad de las entidades futbolísticas y de la propia Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional.

The article analyses the legal framework for the economic control of professional football in Spain and the need to create the figure of an independent public regulator capable of carrying out the tasks of guardianship, control and supervision with independence and impartiality from the football entities and the National Professional Football League itself.
