    En el presente artículo se abordará el entramado político que llevó a la Izquierda Comunista a ingresar al Partido Socialista en 1936, marcando el fin de la breve trayectoria de la organización. Para ello, se abordarán brevemente los orígenes de esta colectividad, y las discusiones que se dieron en torno a esta discusión política. La hipótesis de trabajo, en tanto, es que los trotskis-tas habrían ingresado al Partido Socialista por dos principales motivos: evitar quedar relegados a la nula incidencia política, y las condiciones políticas que, según los trotskistas, daban pie a tomar la conducción de ese partido.

    This article addresses the political frame-work that led the Communist Left to join the Socialist Party in 1936, ending the organization’s brief history. To do so, it observes the origins of this group, as well as the discussions that took place around this political discussion. The working hypothesis is that the Trotskyists would have joined the Socialist Party for two main reasons: to avoid being relegated to no political influence; and the political conditions that, according to the Trotskyists, led to the leadership within that party.
