This article aims to present aspects of the works of Virginia Woolf and Maria Zambrano, two prominent thinkers of the 20th century, who addressed the complexities of war and politics from their historical contexts. The text examines how personal experiences, social influences and historical events shaped their perspectives and how their works offer unique perspectives on political and ethical issues that remain current, such as exile in the face of tyranny, fascism, unequal relations of gender in patriarchal class society.
