This communicationintendedto establish a connection betweenEnvironmental Educationand Lipman’s P4C Program, as a specific aspect of Philosophy of Education. For that matter, the analysis of Higher Order Thinkingas P4Cfoundationswas thus pursued, i.e. acomplex kind of thinking that combined Critical, Creative and Caring Thinking at the realm of Doing Philosophy with Chidren and Youth. That is the backdrop against which ECO_DIALOGUEprojectemerged as an attempt to create new materials within Lipman’s P4Cwork, fostering Environmental Education throughPhilosophical Dialogue, as well as Teacher training courses in order to make its operationalization possible within aEuropean school context. At the turn of the 21rst century, ECO_Dialogue[DG XII (SOCRATES/Comenius 3.1)] emerged as resulted ofa partnershipinvolvingthree European countries, Catalonian, Portugal and Austria, under the coordination of Grup IREF.
