Resumen de Alonso de Llera, un pintor olvidado en la Sevilla del siglo XVII

En el presente artículo analizamos la figura de Alonso de Llera Zambrano, un pintor en la Sevilla del siglo XVII del que apenas se tenían algunas noticias, como la de que se dedicó a pintar banderas para naos. Recogemos igualmente algunos textos encontrados en el Archivo Municipal de Sevilla que nos ayudan a contextualizar otras labores artísticas quizá más decorativas que pictóricas, como la participación en fiestas públicas y religiosas de especial importancia en esta época, particularmente en la del Corpus Christi.

In this article we analyze the figure of Alonso de Llera Zambrano, a pain- ter in 17th century Seville about who there is little information, such as the fact that he dedicated himself to painting flags for ships. Some texts found in the Municipal Archive of Seville are also studied that help us contextualizing other artistic works more decorative than pictorial, such as the participation in public and religious festivals of special importance for the time, such as the Corpus Christi celebration
