    El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en identificar tres niveles de análisis que nos den acceso al encuentro de la ética y la política en la filosofía de Levinas. Estos niveles corresponden a tres imágenes oculares presentes en la obra de Levinas que caracterizan el ejercicio de objetualización en el que perdemos el contacto con la alteridad del otro, la dimensión ética y la dimensión política. Nos referimos aquí al mirar el color de los ojos del otro, presenciar el sufrimiento en sus ojos y ver al tercero en los ojos del otro.

    The aim of this work is to identify the three levels of analysis that let us access the encounter between ethics and politics in the philosophy of Levinas. These levels are related to three ocular images in the philosophy of Levinas, the first level characterizes the objectification that makes us lose contact with the alterity of the other, the second refers to the ethical dimension and the third to the political dimension. We refer to the action of looking at another's eye colour, as witnessing the other’s suffering and as looking at the third party in the other’s eyes.
