    Si bien la incorporación de herramientas de Inteligencia Artificial al ámbito educativo no es reciente, no es hasta hace aproximadamente cinco años que dicha tecnología ha tenido una incorporación masiva en los procesos educativos, en todos los ámbitos y niveles. Conjuntamente con ello, a nivel mundial, las investigaciones y publicaciones sobre el vínculo entre Inteligencia Artificial y educación también han tenido un crecimiento exponencial. El objetivo del presente estudio es identificar las principales características que poseen las publicaciones académicas que se han realizado en Uruguay sobre el tema Inteligencia Artificial y educación. Para ello se ejecutó una metodología de revisión sistemática que dio por resultado final la identificación de siete documentos que se ajustaron a los criterios de selección definidos; tales documentos fueron sometidos a un proceso de codificación para la extracción de información y su posterior análisis. Los resultados de la investigación sugieren que las publicaciones sobre el tema Inteligencia Artificial y educación en Uruguay se encuentran en estado incipiente. Si bien hay intentos por abordar la cuestión, existen importantes vacíos que se encuentran sin ser atendidos por la investigación actual. En este sentido, identificamos que hay varias temáticas y ámbitos educativos específicos sobre los cuales existe escasa o nula publicación académica.

    Although the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence tools into the educational field is not recent, it is not until approximately five years ago that this technology has had a massive incorporation into educational processes, in all areas and levels. Along with this, worldwide, research and publications on the link between Artificial Intelligence and education have also had exponential growth. The objective of this study is to identify the main characteristics of the academic publications that have been carried out in Uruguay on the subject of Artificial Intelligence and education. To do so, a systematic review methodology was carried out, which resulted in the identification of seven documents that met the defined selection criteria; these documents were subjected to a coding process for the extraction of information and its subsequent analysis. The results of the research suggest that publications on the subject of Artificial Intelligence and education in Uruguay are in an incipient state. Although there are attempts to address the subject, there are important gaps that are not being addressed by current research. In this sense, we identified that there are several specific educational topics and fields on which there are few or no academic publications.

    Embora a incorporação de ferramentas de Inteligência Artificial na educação não seja um fenómeno recente, só nos últimos cinco anos é que esta tecnologia foi massivamente incorporada nos processos educativos em todas as áreas e a todos os níveis. Paralelamente, a investigação e as publicações a nível mundial sobre a relação entre a Inteligência Artificial e a educação também cresceram exponencialmente. O objetivo deste estudo é identificar as principais caraterísticas das publicações académicas no Uruguai sobre o tema da Inteligência Artificial e da educação. Para o efeito, foi realizada uma metodologia de revisão sistemática que resultou na identificação de sete documentos que cumpriam os critérios de seleção definidos; estes documentos foram submetidos a um processo de codificação para a extração de informação e sua posterior análise. Os resultados da pesquisa sugerem que as publicações sobre o tema da Inteligência Artificial e educação no Uruguai são incipientes. Embora existam tentativas de abordar o tema, há lacunas importantes que permanecem não abordadas pela investigação atual. Neste sentido, identificámos que existem vários tópicos específicos e campos educacionais sobre os quais existe pouca ou nenhuma publicação académica.
