  El presente artículo se centra en el análisis de la documentación albergada por el Centro Socialista “Agustín de Arrieta” de Bahía Blanca. En primer lugar, se reconstruye brevemente el derrotero histórico de la biblioteca y del archivo del partido, derrotero íntimamente relacionado con los vaivenes, principalmente políticos, que afectaron al socialismo argentino. En segundo término, se hace una descripción general del tipo de documentación que contiene el archivo, señalando potenciales usos y líneas de investigación histórica.

  The current article focuses on the analysis of the documentation sheltered by the Socialist Center “Agustín de Arrieta” of Bahía Blanca. In the first place, the historical path of the library and the archive of the party are briefly reconstructed, path intimately related with the sways, mainly political, that affected the argentine socialism. In second term, a general reconstruction of the type of the archive’s documentation is made, pointing potential uses and lines of historical research.
