    El trabajo tiene como objetivo principal analizar las fuentes para un abordaje de la historia de las mujeres durante la primera mitad del siglo XIX en Tucumán. Durante el proceso de militarización generado en todo el espacio rioplatense a partir de la Revolución de Mayo en 1810, el estudio pretende rescatar la presencia de las mujeres en el ámbito militar, sus contribuciones materiales y monetarias y su protagonismo dentro del proceso bélico junto al varón, partiendo desde una perspectiva de género.

    The work has as main objective to analyze the sources for an approach to the history of women during the first half of the nineteenth century in Tucuman. During the process of militarization generated around the rioplatense space from the May Revolution in 1810, the study aims to rescue the presence of women in the military, material and financial contributions to help with the revolutionary army and its role within the war alongside the male process, starting from a gender perspective.
