  En el siguiente artículo se aborda la revista católica Criterio entre 1928 y 1966 a partir de una serie de consideraciones historiográficas y metodológicas. Así inicialmente se presenta la revista, nacida en 1928, y se expone su recorrido histórico atendiendo la fuerte recomposición a partir del fallecimiento de Gustavo Franceschi y el ingreso de una joven generación en la década de 1960. Luego el análisis se centra en la polémica historiográfica en torno a la naturaleza de Criterio como un objeto heurístico en los primeros años de vida, la relación con la jerarquía en la década de 1960 y posteriormente propone una aproximación cuantitativa a los colaboradores entre 1955 y 1966.

  The following paper contains an examination of the Catholic magazine Criterio during the years between 1928 and 1966 on the basis of a set of historiographical and methodological considerations. For these purposes, we will introduce the journal, originally established in 1928, and its historical trajectory, taking into account its recomposition after the death of Gustavo Franceschi and the entry of a young generation in the 1960s. Thereafter, the inquiry focuses on the historiographical controversy surrounding Criterio’s nature as a heuristic object in the first years of its existence, the relationship with the hierarchy in the 1960s and, later on, we propose a quantitative approach to the contributors between 1955 and 1966.Criterio magazine
