    Partiendo del interrogante ¿pueden ser consideradas obras de arte las producciones realizadas con inteligencia artificial?, el presente artículo busca relevar una serie de ideas, conceptos, categorías y sistemas de la teoría del arte que permite, en una primera instancia, pensar la pertinencia de esta pregunta para el campo artístico actual, como así también los argumentos que jugarían a favor o en contra de una respuesta positiva. A su vez, se pondrá en evidencia la necesidad de generar nuevos abordajes y herramientas para el análisis de esta problemática considerando los límites de una teoría del arte donde la figura del artista-creador-humano está jerarquizada en la creación o ideación artística y donde la irrupción de estos modelos de IA pone en jaque esta pretendida centralidad de lo humano en las producciones estéticas contemporáneas.

    Based on the question Can productions made with Artificial Intelligence be considered works of art?, this article attempts to examine a series of ideas, concepts, categories and systems of art theory that allows, in the first instance, to consider the pertinence of this question for the current artistic field as well as the arguments that would support or oppose it. At the same time, the need to develop new approaches and tools for the analysis of this problem will be discussed, considering the limits of a theory of art where the figure of the artist-creator-human is ranked in artistic creation and where the irruption of these AI models challenges this alleged centrality of the human dimension in contemporary aesthetic productions.
