  • The aim of this study was to examine the Skills4Genius program effects in thinking andgame (individual and collective) creative performance in team sports. Forty children were allocated into the control group and into the experimental group, and this last group participated in the Skills4Genius program. In-game derived variables were collected during a 3-a-side small-sided soccer game. The collective game behavior were calculated based on players’ positioning data, collected by GPS and processed with nonlinear techniques (approximate entropy). The individual game behavior was assessed through a computerized notational analysis using Simi Scout software to evaluate offensive technical-tactical variables. Still, the creative thinking was measured through the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking-Figural. The results suggested that Skills4Genius Program provided a better understanding about collective game principles and also enhanced the children’s individual exploratory and improvisation behavior during the game performance. Finally, the program also improved the creative thinking, and it was clearly showed that without appropriate training this ability decreases as verified in control group. Overall, this study provides meaningful assumptions about the potentialof the Skills4Genius program in fostering creative behavior.
