These essays contribute to the most arid theoretical questions of the book "The Earthly Possessions of Man". Hence, the simplicity and pleasantness of Social Sciences students, from the subject of "social inquiry," dare to present changing expressions of the development of society, of the very dialectics of history, and of the social struggles that men wage within it as components of antagonistic social classes. They study the transition from feudalism to capitalism to imperialism and the beginnings of socialism, from a Marxist perspective that allows us to appreciate the intimate relationship that often exists between theory and practice, between thought and historical processes.
