Notas para Actualizar el Estudio del Motivo Literario del Doble (Doppelgänger) en la Literatura Fantástica

    Diversas interpretaciones del fenómeno del doble en la literatura fantástica suelen fundamentarse con ayuda de la bibliografía clínica sobre la despersonalización autoscópica. En esta contribución, sin embargo, nuestra intención es señalar que, por esas razones, el motivo verdaderamente literario del Doppelgänger no ha sido exhaustivamente analizado siguiendo las particulares resistencias herméticas y hermenéuticas instauradas con toda intención por el autor que crea literatura evidentemente fantástica y que, por lo tanto, exige a sus lectores el rendimiento de una lealtad ficcional a esa exposición singular de la experiencia mundo-vitalicia del ser humano. Con ayuda de teóricos como R. Lachmann, H.-J. Gerigk, y Chr. Forderer, nuestra hipótesis indica que el motivo del doble fantástico en la literatura se puede estudiar prescindiendo de las disciplinas clínicas en aras de descubrir las verosímiles paradojas de la escisión de una individualidad; todo ello con el respaldo de que, aquello que la ciencia médica no puede acabar de entender y explicar, la literatura lo vuelve argumento narrativo, evidencia sus pormenores y lo torna espiritualmente comprensible desde la base de un mundo de la vida (Lebenswelt) perfectamente verosímil.

    Various interpretations of the phenomenon of the double in fantastic literature are often substantiated with the help of the clinical literature on autoscopic depersonalization. In this contribution, however, the intention is to point out that, for these reasons, the actual literary motif of the Doppelgänger has not been exhaustively analyzed following the particular hermetic and hermeneutic strengths established with every intention by the author who creates obviously fantastic literature and who, therefore, has to demand from his readers the performance of a fictional allegiance to that singular exposition of the life-world experience of the human being. Here and with the aid of theorists such as R. Lachmann, H.-J. Gerigk and Chr. Forderer, it is our hypothesis that the motif of the fantastic double in literature can be studied without the clinical disciplines in order to discover the plausible paradoxes of the splitting of an individuality; all this with the support of the fact that, what medical science cannot fully understand and explain, literature makes it a narrative argument, reveals its details and makes it spiritually comprehensible on the basis of a perfectly plausible life world (Lebenswelt).
