    Este artículo inicia en la primera parte con una reflexión sobre el concepto de la ciudadanía femenina y sobre el feminismo maternalista. Posteriormente, se compone de un apartado acerca de la participación política de las mujeres en la segunda mitad del siglo XX en América Latina y otro sobre el estudio de la recepción del golpe de Estado en Chile por parte de la agrupación Alianza de Mujeres Costarricenses (AMC) desde el enfoque teórico del feminismo maternalista. El objetivo de la investigación es analizar la recepción que hubo por parte de la AMC sobre dicho evento político que en 1973 sacude en general a todo el pueblo latinoamericano, dentro del contexto de la Guerra Fría y de la segunda ola del feminismo en América Latina que fue clave para el desenvolvimiento de movimientos sociales de mujeres. Para lograr esto se recurrió al análisis del discurso presentado en publicaciones hechas por el periódico femenino Nuestra Voz entorno a dicho golpe.

    This article examines a reflection on the concept of female citizenship and materialist feminism in the first section. Subsequently, this article is also divided into two sections: the political participation of women in the second half of the twentieth century in Latin America and the study of the reception of the coup in Chile by the Alianza de Mujeres Costarricenses (AMC) from the theoretical approach of maternal feminism. The aim of this study is to analyze the reception of the political event by AMC that shook the Latin American people in general in 1973 within the context of the Cold War and the second wave of feminism in Latin America, being key for the development of women's social movements. To achieve this, we analyzed the discourse presented in publications made by the women's newspaper Nuestra Voz about this coup.
