  • Resumen
    • The constant and complex relationship with plants is an essential part of human life. The exhibition Impronte, noi e le piante, held at the Palazzo del Governatore in Parma, was curated by Maria Amarante, Renato Bruni, Daniela Fermi, Nicola Franchini, Lorenza Morisi and Agnese Zeni from the University of Parma, and Claudia Addabbo and Elena Canadelli from the University of Padua. Their main aim was to explore the role of botanical illustrations in scientific endeavour through a fascinating journey across drawings, manuscripts, herbaria, models, wall charts, xylotheques, photographs and images produced by new techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging, mass spectrometry, confocal microscopy, and time-lapse photography
