Resumen de Catalogo nacional de materiales de base. Situación actual y perspectivas

  El Catálogo Nacional de Materiales de Base es el registro en el que figura la relación de materiales de los que se obtiene el material forestal de reproducción. La gestión del Catálogo implica tanto su mantenimiento, con las consiguientes revisiones periódicas; como la caracterización de cada uno de los materiales aprobados. Para ello, se está elaborando una base de datos que recoge toda la información que se genera en el proceso de aprobación. La conexión de esta base con el Banco de Datos de la Naturaleza permite disponer de la cartografía digital temática necesaria para la caracterización de las unidades que componen el Catálogo. En la presente comunicación se citan las fuentes que se utilizan para la caracterización ecológica de los materiales de base y se comenta el resultado de la caracterización fenotípica del material de base para la producción de material seleccionado.

  The National Register of Basic Material is the register of the all approved materials for the production of forest reproductive material.The National Register management implies as well its maintenance as the periodic revisions; and the characterisation of all the basic materials too. It is carrying out a database with all the information generated in the approval procedure. The connection between this database and the Data Bank of the Nature permits the use of the thematic digital cartography for the ecological characterisation of the basic material. This paper describes the bibliography for the ecological characterisation and the first results of the phenotypic characterisation of the material for the selected forest reproductive material marketing.
