Aportaciones de valeriano bozal a la estética

    En primer lugar, desplegando los conceptos que vamos a manejar al tratar de las aportaciones a la Estética del profesor Valeriano Bozal, nos deslizamos por la Historia, desde la creación de la disciplina por Baumgarten, para recorrer los momentos más señeros y destacar los problemas que la investigación ha ido poniendo de manifiesto, tanto en lo que atañe a una teoría de la percepción como en lo que respecta a la relación entre la sensibilidad y la creación artística. A continuación, atendemos a la teoría estética de Bozal y a su consideración del papel del arte en nuestra comprensión del mundo, insistiendo en las categorías estéticas en las que se detuvo con más atención: mímesis y gusto. Para finalizar, analizamos la postura de Bozal a propósito de los posibles cambios que introduce el arte contemporáneo en la manera de considerar la obra y la figura del artista.

    Firstly, by unfolding the concepts that we will handle when dealing with the contributions to Aesthetics of Professor Valeriano Bozal, we slide through History, from the creation of the discipline by Baumgarten, to go through the most significant moments and highlight the problems that research has been revealing, both in terms of a theory of perception and in terms of the relationship between sensibility and artistic creation. Then, we pay attention to Bozal's aesthetic theory and his consideration of the role of art in our understanding of the world, insisting on the aesthetic categories on which he focused most: mimesis and taste. Finally, we analyze Bozal's position regarding the possible changes that contemporary art introduces in the way of considering the work and the figure of the artist.
