    Hablar de la “Justicia y el Derecho” conlleva a comprenderlos en todos sus niveles, en especial dentro del contexto cultural, social y político de las épocas en las cuales se desarrollaron sus respectivas doctrinas. El presente artículo busca arribar en el análisis de la justicia y el Derecho, dos conceptos entrelazados, así como diferenciados desde los albores del Derecho como ciencia jurídica; analizando para tal fin los principales postulados filosóficos sobre los distintos tipos y formas de justicia, así como sus implicancias y principales alcances y efectos en el ordenamiento jurídico, tales como la justicia conmutativa, la justicia distributiva, la justicia general o legal y la justicia social y material, invitándonos a la reflexión y comprensión de la justicia como virtud y valor jurídico, elemento pilar en la construcción del Derecho como ciencia jurídica y de la formación nuestra sociedad actual y ordenamientos jurídicos. Para ello, se realizó una revisión y análisis acucioso de la doctrina filosófica e histórica de la justicia, así como de la literatura de autores clásicos como Aristóteles, Platón y Sócrates, principales gestores del análisis y estudio teórico de la justicia; pasando por la escuela clásica del derecho natural, y la revisión de la literatura de autores contemporáneos en la materia.

    To speak of "Justice and Law" entails an understanding of these in all their spheres and levels, especially within the cultural, social and political context of the times in which their respective doctrines were developed. This article seeks to arrive at an analysis of justice and law, two concepts that have been intertwined and differentiated since the dawn of law as a legal science. The analysis for this purpose the main philosophical postulates on the different types and forms of justice, as well as their implications and main scope and effects in the legal system, such as commutative justice, distributive justice, general or legal justice and social and material justice. There is an inviting us to reflect and understand justice as a virtue and legal value, a pillar element in the construction of Law as a legal science and the formation of our current society and legal systems. For this purpose, a thorough review and analysis of the philosophical and historical doctrine of justice was finished, as well as the literature of classical authors such as Aristotle, Plato and Socrates. These men main managers of the analysis and theoretical study of justice, passing through the classical school of natural law, and the review of the literature of contemporary authors on the subject.
