La vida afectivo-social de cualquier institución educativa es importante si queremos avanzar hacia una sociedad de personas capaces de relacionarse positivamente con los demás.
Se ha estudiado la vida afectivo-social en la institución educativa del Centro de Enseñanza Superior Don Bosco y los valores que la fundamentan, con el objetivo de potenciar los elementos que influyen positivamente, detectar los aspectos de mejora, y conocer si las experiencias proporcionadas favorecen la formación inicial como docentes.
El soporte teórico de esta investigación reside fundamentalmente en la teoría de Kohlberg sobre desarrollo moral, el entorno social, las oportunidades de toma de rol, la influencia de la atmósfera moral de un grupo o institución, y los valores en el desarrollo de la personalidad.
La metodología utilizada es el paradigma cualitativo, en la perspectiva biográfica-narrativa, utilizando para la recogida de datos las herramientas de: Carta a mi Escuela, Autobiografía y Entrevista individual y la visión que ha acompañado la investigación ha sido la “pluralidad de enfoques” respecto a la información que se buscaba. Se ha tomado a los estudiantes como muestra acreditada de información, conformada por doscientos veintisiete alumnos de los tres Grados que se imparten en el centro.
La recogida de datos se ha realizado en tres momentos: al inicio del curso académico los estudiantes de primer curso han escrito una carta a su escuela anterior, narrando los motivos para estudiar el Grado de Maestro en Educación Infantil, Educación Primaria y Educación Social y realizar sus estudios en el CES Don Bosco. Después de un tiempo en el centro, un grupo de alumnos de primero y tercero de cada Grado ha realizado una Autobiografía contando su experiencia en el centro. Al final del proceso, se ha realizado una entrevista a estudiantes de los tres Grados donde se aborda diferentes aspectos de la experiencia como estudiantes en el centro universitario.
Los resultados obtenidos reflejan una clara motivación vocacional, al inicio de sus estudios, en la mayor parte de los estudiantes. La elección del centro proviene del conocimiento y valoración de la propuesta educativa salesiana, de su oferta educativa y de no haber obtenido nota suficiente o plaza para realizar los estudios en la Universidad Pública, iniciando en este centro, pero con la idea de cambiarse. Los estudiantes encuentran en el centro el ambiente de familia, característica de la identidad salesiana. La experiencia de prácticas en los centros escolares, ayuda a discernir y a afianzar su motivación. Se aprecia la propuesta de valores del centro, que se transmite por ósmosis y se percibe en el ambiente y en las personas.
Se ha llegado a la conclusión de que el Centro de Enseñanza Superior Don Bosco mantiene un buen clima afectivo-social fundamentado en el valor de la familiaridad, rasgo de identidad del centro y asumido por la comunidad educativa, que junto a otros valores, hacen del centro el lugar apropiado e idóneo para cursar los estudios de Magisterio y Educación Social. El profesorado, destaca por sus cualidades personales y profesionales, siendo elemento dinamizador de la imagen del centro.
The affective-social life of any educational institution is important if we intend to move towards a society of people able to generate positive relationships with others.
The affective-social life in the educational institution of the Don Bosco Higher Education Center has been studied and the values that support it, with the aim of enhancing the elements that influence positively, detecting aspects of improvement, and knowing if the experiences provided favor Initial training as teachers.
The theoretical support of this research lies primarily in Kohlberg's theory of moral development, social environment, role-assumption opportunities, the influence of the moral atmosphere of a group or institution, and values in personality development.
The methodology used is the qualitative paradigm, in the biographical-narrative perspective, using for the collection of data the tools of: Letter to my School, Autobiography and Individual interview and the vision that has accompanied the investigation has been the "plurality of approaches" with respect to the information sought. Students have been taken as an accredited sample of information, made up of two hundred twenty-seven students from the three grades that are taught in the center.
The data collection has been carried out in three moments: at the beginning of the academic year, the first-year students have written a letter to their previous school, narrating the reasons to study the Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Social Education and to carry put his studies at CES Don Bosco. After a time in the center, a group of students of first and third grades of each Degree has written an Autobiography detailing their experience in the center. At the end of the process, there has been an interview to students of the three Degrees that addresses different aspects of the experience as students in the university center.
The results obtained reflect a clear vocational motivation, at the beginning of their studies, by most of the students. The choice of the center is due to the knowledge and evaluation of the Salesian educational proposal, its educational offer and due to the grade obtained which has been low to access a Public University, choosing this center, but with the idea of changing. The students find in the center the family atmosphere, characteristic of the Salesian identity. The experience of practices in schools, helps to discern and strengthen their motivation. We can appreciate the values proposed by the center, which are transmitted by osmosis and are perceived in the environment and in persons involved.
It has been concluded that the Don Bosco Higher Education Center maintains a good affective and social climate based on the value of familiarity, a characteristic of the center and assumed by the educational community, which together with other values make the Center the appropriate place and suitable to study the Degrees in Early Childhood, Primary and Social Education. The teaching staff, stands out for their personal and professional qualities, being a dynamic element of the image of the center.
