Resumen de Aula del futuro en Portugal: análisis de experiencias educativas y necesidades docentes

  Existen numerosos trabajos teóricos en torno a las aulas del futuro (AdF) o smart learning environments (SLE), sin embargo, hasta el momento no está tan extendida su práctica. Por ello, los objetivos de este estudio son conocer las AdF implementadas, identificar las tecnologías utilizadas y analizar las necesidades de los docentes que imparten clase en estos nuevos entornos. El presente trabajo consiste en un estudio cuantitativo de carácter exploratorio para el que se ha diseñado y empleado un cuestionario ad hoc compuesto por 56 ítems. Dicho cuestionario fue enviado a 22 responsables de AdF de Portugal y se ha conseguido una muestra participante de 13 (hombres y mujeres). Los resultados, obtenidos a partir de estadísticos descriptivos, tablas de contingencia y pruebas exactas de Fisher ponen de manifiesto que en la mayoría de los casos se hace un uso de metodologías activas, se emplean diferentes estrategias de evaluación, se utiliza, generalmente, la pizarra interactiva y otras tecnologías digitales, pero, no tanto, la inteligencia artificial, las analíticas de aprendizaje, etc. Asimismo, existe una notable satisfacción profesional con las experiencias implementadas, aunque se detectan algunas necesidades, como la formación recibida en relación con estos entornos, la comunicación con las familias, entre otras. Por lo tanto, de este trabajo se concluye que existen determinadas diferencias entre la teoría publicada sobre las AdF o los SLE y la práctica desarrollada con la muestra implicada.

  There is a great deal of theoretical work on the classrooms of the future (AdF) or smart learning environments (SLE), however, so far their practice is not so widespread. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to learn about the AdF implemented, to identify the technologies used and to analyse the needs of teachers who teach in these new environments. The present study consists of an exploratory quantitative study for which an ad hoc questionnaire consisting of 56 items has been designed and used. This questionnaire was sent to 22 AdF managers in Portugal and a participating sample of 13 (men and women) was obtained. The results, obtained from data analysis using descriptive statistics, contingency tables and Fisher's exact tests, show that in most cases active methodologies are used, different assessment strategies are used, the interactive whiteboard and other digital technologies are generally used, but artificial intelligence, learning analytics, etc., are not so much used. Likewise, there is notable professional satisfaction with the experiences implemented, although some needs are detected, such as the training received in these environments, communication with families, among others. Therefore, this study concludes that there are certain differences between the theory published in relation to AdF or SLE and the practice developed with the sample involved.
