  • This article provides a contribution to our ongoing research dedicated to analizing the anglicisms in the French language of the province of Quebec (Canada). The following essay focuses on the semantic field of food, and more precisely on three words of popular usage corresponding to three different anglicisms. These are: bines, pinottes and pâté chinois.
