Análisis del programa tutor-mentor desde la experiencia de dos mentoras

    El Programa Tutor-Mentor forma parte del Plan de Orientación Universitaria de la Universidad de Zaragoza (POUZ). Se fundamenta en la acción conjunta entre los tutores y mentores y tiene como objetivo general favorecer la integración, educación y desarrollo de los estudiantes en la Universidad. Los objetivos que vamos a desarrollar durante los siguientes apartados son analizar la metodología de las sesiones realizadas durante el curso, considerar el interés de los estudiantes a partir de la asistencia y aportaciones realizadas en las sesiones, y razonar y reflexionar sobre la labor realizada en el POUZ. La experiencia se llevó a cabo en un grupo de primer curso (dividido en dos subgrupos) del Grado en Magisterio en Educación Primaria de la Universidad de Zaragoza. Cada subgrupo estaba tutorizado-mentorizado por un/a tutor/a y una mentora que actúan coordinadamente. Se realizaron cinco sesiones en las que se acordó el lugar, día y hora con los estudiantes, donde se trataron las necesidades personales del alumnado. El interés de los estudiantes fue alto con una participación media del 39.09% del grupo, siendo la valoración media del POUZ de 4,75 sobre 5 y la valoración de la labor de las mentoras de 4.83 sobre 5. Para concluir, queremos decir que la labor realizada fue muy gratificante ya que desde la función de mentoría se puede ayudar a los nuevos estudiantes en necesidades en las que se encuentran mejor hablando con otro estudiante del mismo grado.

    The Tutor-Mentor Programme is part of the University Orientation Plan of the University of Zaragoza (POUZ). It is based on the combined action between tutors and mentors and its general objective is to favour the integration, education and development of students at University. The objectives that we are going to develop during the following sections are to analyze the methodology of the sessions carried out during the course, to consider the interest of the students from the attendance and contributions made in the sessions, and to reason and reflect on the work carried out in the POUZ. The experience was carried out in a first year group (divided into two subgroups) of the Grade of Teaching in Primary Education of the University of Zaragoza. Each subgroup was mentored by a tutor and a mentor who act in a coordinated way. Five sessions were held in which the place, day and time were agreed with the students, where the personal needs of the students were dealt with. The interest of the learners was high with an average participation of 39.09% of the group, with the average POUZ rating of 4.75 out of 5 and the rating of the work of the mentors of 4.83 out of 5. To conclude, we want to say that the work done was very rewarding because from the mentoring function can help new students in needs in which they are better talking to another student of the same grade.
