Resumen de Estudio y traducción de la terminología del turismo rural en español, inglés y francés

  La traducción es una cuestión esencial en el área del turismo, dado que los productos y los servicios turísticos deben ser promocionados en los diferentes mercados en diferentes lenguas para que estén al alcance de comunidades lingüística y culturalmente muy distintas. Este trabajo presenta un análisis exhaustivo de los términos característicos del turismo rural en tres lenguas: español de España, inglés y francés. El principal objetivo es obtener los equivalentes de traducción más adecuados para los diversos tipos de alojamiento de turismo rural. Con ello esperamos diseñar herramientas útiles para traductores, diseñadores de sitios web y profesionales y agentes implicados en la industria del turismo. Esta investigación se inició en el año 2010 y se encuentra aún en proceso de realización, mediante la recopilación de textos en las tres lenguas de estudio y la ampliación de la base de datos en la que se almacenan los resultados del análisis de dichos textos

  Translation is a key issue in the area of tourism, since tourist products and services need to be advertised in different markets and different languages so that they can be available for linguistically and culturally diverse communities. This paper presents an in-depth analysis of the characteristic terms of rural tourism in three languages: Spanish (as used in Spain), English, and French. The main objective is to obtain the most suitable translation equivalents for the different types of rural tourism accommodation establishments. The final aim is to design useful tools for translators, website designers and all professionals and agents involved in the industry of tourism. This research was started in the year 2010 and is still in progress, mainly by the compilation of additional texts in the three languages under consideration and the expansion of the database where the results of the analysis of those texts are stored and analyzed
