Resumen de Estereotipos y prejuicios sobre la relación entre actividad plástica y actividad física

En este artículo se plantea una disertación teórica en torno a algunas creencias habituales sobre las diferencias entre la actividad plástica y la actividad física. Para aclarar esta cuestión, mostramos diversos estereotipos en forma de contraste binario, tales como lo “femenino y lo masculino”, “el espíritu de competición y su aspecto individual o colectivo”, “el arte como actividad sensible y la actividad físico-deportiva como agresiva”, “intelectualización frente a popularismo”, “creatividad o libertad en la práctica de estas actividades”. Con este trabajo teórico queremos contribuir a profundizar en el estudio de la relación entre educación artística y educación física.

In this paper a theoretical line of argument is set out around some habitual convictions about the differences between Artistic Activity and Physical Activity. We show several stereotypes to clarify this question in the shape of binary contrasts, such as: “Feminine – masculine”; “Competition and its individual or collective aspect”; “Art as a sensitive activity or Physical activity as an aggressive one”; “Intelligence opposite popularization”; “Creativity and freedom in the practice of these activities”. With this theoretical work we want to contribute to the study on the relation bettween Art Education and Physical Education.
