Resumen de Bolonya: un camí d'anada i tornada

The author of this article considers the European Higher Education Plan as an objective, but also as a beginning, like what we want to build and at the same time, what we have inherited. He states that the university is culture and very different positions can be adopted in order to face it. One can look back and observe the past attentively, and try to repeat it to the letter, or either relinquish the past and look forward whilst adopting a revolutionary position. The University's history itself, its determining position in the development of knowledge, its universality and also its unionist nature are analyzed here to understand how we should continue to develop this institution taking into account the past, although always looking towards the future.

L'autor d'aquest article considera el Pla Europeu d'Educació Superior com una fi, peró també com un principi, com alió que volem construir, i alhora, alió que hem heretat. La universitat ens diu, és cultura, i davant d'aquesta es poden adoptas posicions ben diferents. Es pot girar el cap enrere per observas amb atenció el passat, i tractar de repetir-ho en el present fi per randa, o bé renunciar al passat i mirar cap endavant to adoptant una posició revolucionaria. La mateixa história de la universitat, la seva funció determinant en el desenvolupamen dels sabers, la seva universalitat i també la seva gremialita s'analitzen aquí per entendre com hauríem de seguir desenvolupant aquesta institució tenint en compte el passat, però mirant sempre cap al futur.
