Abstract
Son muchas las investigaciones que se han llevado a cabo sobre la violencia de género pero muy pocas se centran en la transmisión generacional de esta problemática, así como en las causas y las consecuencias que la generan. Son bastantes los casos en los que tiene lugar, producto de diferentes factores, como pueden ser, la reproducción de roles aprendidos o la repercusión que la sociedad patriarcal tiene sobre las personas; siendo este último factor obviado en numerosos casos. Independientemente del género, esta problemática afecta negativamente al desarrollo de los menores, pues estos son también víctimas de esta problemática.

There are quite a few cases in which it takes place, the product of different factors, such as the reproduction of learned roles or the repercussion that the patriarchal society has on people; The latter factor being obviated in numerous cases.
