Biography

Profesora Titular en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (desde 2021). Sus líneas de investigación se han articulado en torno al estudio de las representaciones sociales - de género, de identidades, de historia y memoria histórica -, desde un punto de vista interdisciplinar, y centrado en los medios audiovisuales (cine y televisión). Es autora del libro La imagen de la mujer italiana en los noticiarios Luce (1928-1943), Madrid, 2009; y co-autora del libro La mirada televisiva. Ficción y representación histórica en España, Madrid, 2009. En la actualidad, es una de las investigadoras del Proyecto de Investigación “Diccionario de símbolos políticos y sociales de la Europa Contemporánea: claves iconográficas e hitos simbólicos del imaginario europeo (ref.: PID-2020-116323GB-I00) (Programa Estatal de fomento de la Investigación Científica y Técnica de Excelencia, Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación).
