Abstract
The alimony between spouses in the field of private international law is a true reflection
Spanish international coding process in the field developed in the three traditional areas: international
jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of relations in this area. The complex situation that
has existed so far in this matter has been resolved by Regulation 4/2009 (and the Hague Protocol 2007).
In a single standard the three classic sectors of private international law, incorporating provisions on legal
aid and cooperation between central authorities are regulated.
