Penitential literature that emerged strongly in the post-tridentine period becomes
an essential resource of study for the analysis of female morality, to draw a cultural
portrait of the woman and her daily experiences in Modern Spain Age. Even today,
there are many things unknown about the history of women, especially in regard to the intangible aspects is therefore important to establish a middle view between the image
and which had sought to impose.
