  • The PhD thesis analyses the representation of eroticism in the poetics works of Joan Salvat-Papasseit (1894-1924), Josep Palau i Fabre (1917-2008), and Gabriel Ferrater (1922-1972). Based on the results of this inquiry, there has been carried out a comparative study of the poetries of the three authors to establish similarities and discrepancies in the representation and treatment of the erotic themes. As the authors of poetic production is framed on three specific, short and different historical periods, the main objective of the thesis is to establish what has been the evolution of the presence, representation and treatment of eroticism along the twentieth century Catalan poetry.
