Resumen de El infinito creado actual en Blaise Pascal y Georg Cantor. Prolegómenos filosóficos para una futura antropología teológica

  La presente investigación indaga en la posibilidad de ofrecer a la reflexión teológica un nuevo instrumento filosófico que le permita pensar en una clave alternativa la relación entre el Creador y la criatura. Tomando como punto de partida el pensamiento de Manuel Cabada Castro sobre la infinitud y la concepción de Andrés Torres Queiruga sobre la finitud y el mal, esta tesis pretende analizar y evaluar la consistencia interna y externa de la idea de «infinito creado actual» para ver si, finalmente, tal idea puede ser utilizada en la construcción de una futura antropología teológica. El análisis de fondo se realiza, principalmente, a propósito de las contribuciones de Blaise Pascal y Georg Cantor en torno a la cuestión del infinito, comprendido en términos filosóficos, matemáticos y, en última instancia, también teológicos. La polaridad entre finitud e infinitud estructura internamente sus tres partes con sus seis capítulos.

  This research investigates the possibility of offering theological reflection a new philosophical instrument that allows it to think in an alternative key the relationship between the Creator and the creature. Taking as a starting point the thought of Manuel Cabada Castro on infinity and Andrés Torres Queiruga's conception of finitude and evil, this thesis attempts to analyse and evaluate the internal and external consistency of the idea of "actual created infinity" to see if, finally, such an idea can be used in the construction of a future theological anthropology. The substantive analysis is carried out mainly in connection with the contributions of Blaise Pascal and Georg Cantor on the question of infinity, understood in philosophical, mathematical and, ultimately, also theological terms. The polarity between finitude and infinity internally structures its three parts with its six chapters.
