  • Resumen
    • Last years, the application of digital control to DC-Dc switching converters has a growing among the researchers. The computational power increase besides the low-cost of digital programmable debvices makes the digital control of DC-DC switching converters an attactive alternative to the classical analogue control option. The advantages of programmabilitu and immunity to component changes that may arise due to changes in the ambient conditions has made that many works that study the application of digital control to current-mode or voltage-mode switching convertershaven been presented. In this work, we present a new digital current control strategy which is based on two sampled inductor current points interpolation. The interpolation-based predictive control strategy is applied to fixed and variable switchinf frequency systems showing it's a very good approximation to the respective analogue ones.We present a stability analysis of all the applications and define the digital error introduced inthe system. We have obtained simulated and experimental results that validate theoretical predictions.Experimental results have been obtained by the use of different digital programmable devices and different digital numer representation, i.e. integer, fractional and fixed-point.
