Living and dying in the Spanish Civil War 1936-1939 is an educational workshop of Museum of the History of Catalonia. It was born more than ten years because of the needing of the Museum to work this issue.
Moreover, its creators also shared this view. After a whole year of work, research and gathering sources and historical documents and many hours of teamwork, the workshop emerged as we know today.
Nevertheless, after ten years, things have changed and transformed e. g. from the knowledge of the period to the training of educators' teams. In this article, we review the last ten years by talking with creators of the activity as well as educators who carried out it in order to draw some reflections on the teaching of history in heritage environments.

Viure i morir a la guerra civil Espanyola 1936-1939 és un taller educatiu del Museu d'Història de Catalunya.
Va néixer fa més de deu anys ja que des del Museu hi havia la necessitat de treballar el tema i les seves creadores també compartien aquesta visió. Després d'un any sencer de feina, de recerca de fonts i documentació i de moltes hores de treball en equip va sorgir el taller tal i com avui el coneixem. Després de deu anys, però, les coses han anat canviat i transformant-se, des dels coneixements sobre el període fins a la formació didàctica dels equips d'educadors. En el present article, repassem aquests deu anys tot conversant amb les creadores de l'activitat i els educadors que la porten a terme per tal d'extreure'n algunes reflexions sobre la didàctica de la història en entorns patrimonials.
