    El objeto de este trabajo es analizar las posibles relaciones entre Milton, Tocqueville, Bello y Portales en torno al beneficioso control de la prensa sobre el Estado y, particularmente al Poder Judicial, hasta nuestros días. Este tema nace del estudio sobre instituciones jurídicas que han sido redescubiertas por su importancia para la libertad de prensa.

    The main aim of this article is the analysis of the possible relationships between Milton, Tocqueville, Bello and Portales on the benefits of the press control on the state, particularly on the judicial power until today. This topic arose due the research on important juridical institutions with relevance to the freedom of the press.
