    Este artículo presenta veintiuna tesis que exponen la influencia �negativa, a juicio del autor� de la Revolución Francesa sobre los sistemas legales latinoamericanos desde su independencia.

    Las propuestas no agotan los tópicos respectivos. De hecho, cada tópico podría ser objeto de un tractatus individual. Por el contrario, estas propuestas se dirigen a motivar una discusión académica posterior sobre las propuestas que se plantean. Las tesis giran en torno a cinco áreas de impacto: sobre el substratum ético y filosófico del sistema político - constitucional, sobre los elementos fundamentales del régimen democrático, sobre la organización de las ramas de gobierno, sobre los paradigmas de ecuanimidad, justicia, y axiológicos, sobre la formación de la vida familiar, la moral pública y la profesión legal.

    This Article presents twenty-one theses involving the �negative, in the view of the author� influences that the French Revolution has had on Latin American legal systems since their independence.

    The propositions do not exhaust the respective topics, since each of them could be the object of a standalone tractatus.

    Instead, these propositions aim at motivating further academic discussion on the positions presented. The theses revolve around five areas of impact: the ethical and philosophical substratum of the political system, the fundamentals of the democratic regime, the organization of the branches of government, the paradigms of fairness, justice, and axiology, and the shaping of family life, public morals and the legal profession.
