    La presente Nota efectúa un análisis en profundidad de un importante trabajo publicado por Joel R. Paul en Law and Contemporary Problems sobre la �Transformación de la International Comity�.

    Después de revisar el estudio histórico preparado por el mencionado autor sobre el tema de referencia, la Nota, tras el escrutinio de varios precedentes judiciales en materia de Dº Antitrust, ofrece una visión crítica de los resultados que se derivan de tal estudio, favoreciendo a su vez a la International Comity como un instrumento básico para el desarrollo del moderno Dº Internacional Privado.

    The present Note makes a deep analysis of an important work published by Joel R. Paul in Law and Contemporary Problems about the �Transformation of International Comity�. After completing the review of the historical study prepared by the above-mentioned author on the described subject, the Note offers after studying several judicial precedents dealing with antitrust matters, an alternative critique of the results derived from that historical study, in favor of the International Comity as a basic tool for the development of modern Private International Law.
