La función metalingüística del lenguaje puesta en contexto

    Este artículo tiene como objetivo principal presentar a los profesores de lengua materna y estudiantes de Idiomas, algunos aspectos importantes en torno de la contextualización que se debe hacer del metalenguaje en los distintos niveles de formación. El artículo está dividido en tres partes: en la primera, se resalta la importancia del metalenguaje para el docente de lengua materna; en segundo lugar, se dilucida la función metalingüística y se ve el metalenguaje desde el punto de vista del estudio científico de la lengua materna. Finalmente, se presentan unos criterios relacionados con la adecuación del metalenguaje en los distintos niveles de formación. En esta última parte, se da a conocer una muestra del metalenguaje utilizado por los docentes de lengua materna de educación básica.

    The main objective of this article is to present some important aspects related to the contextualization of the metalanguage used in the different educational levels. This article is addressed to mother language teachers and students of languages. It is divided in three parts: in the first, it is highlighted the importance of the metalanguage for the mother language teachers; in the second part, the metalinguistic function is explained and the metalanguage is seen from the perspective of the mother language scientific study.

    Finally, there are some criteria to adapt the metalanguage to the different educational levels. In this last part, it is showed a sample of the metalanguage used by the mother language teachers in the school.
