Resumen

• This research inquires on the balance between two goals, competitiveness and environmental protection, and identify the contributions of the different legal instruments under examination to this balance, in particular, State aid instruments (GBER and Environmental Guidelines), the Energy Tax Directive (ETD), the Emissions Trade System (ETS) and Environmental Border Tax Adjustments (EBTAs).
