The concept of proference exploits the praxematic approach theorized by the Cahiers for 40 years ago. Emmanuel Macron’s speeches become autonomous from the reality that they might want to describe in order to constitute, in themselves, for themselves, a linguistic and political praxis. Utterances or proferential phrases like “project”, “great debate”, “I am a new president”, chant Emmanuel Macron’s five-year terms. Particularly, the repetition in the discourse of “benevolence”, “protect” or “I take care of you” makes it possible to produce a care posture which attempts to accomplish a social policy.

Le concept de proférence exploite l’approche praxématique théorisée par les Cahiers depuis 40 années. Les discours d’Emmanuel Macron s’autonomise de la réalité qu’ils pourraient vouloir décrire pour constituer, en eux-mêmes, pour eux-mêmes, une praxis linguistique et politique. Des profèrents ou phrases proférentielles comme « projet », « grand débat », « je suis un président nouveau » scandent les quinquennats d’Emmanuel Macron. Particulièrement, la répétition dans le discours de « bienveillance », « protéger » ou « je prends soin de vous » permet de produire une posture care qui tente de performer une politique sociale.
