Renovar los textos de Filosofía: una cuestión de igualdad

    Desde hace tiempo se reivindica la presencia de nombres femeninos en la Historia de la Filosofía de segundo de bachillerato, pero se habla menos de su incorporación a la Filosofía de primero. Por otra parte, el nuevo currículum de primero de bachillerato incluye epígrafes relativos a la desigualdad entre hombres y mujeres, a la invisibilidad de las pensadoras y al feminismo; sin embargo, es un error pensar que las filósofas solo escriben sobre estos temas. Si todo el planteamiento inclusivo se queda en esto, cometeríamos un gran error, ya que podríamos pensar que las filósofas solo escriben sobre “cosas de mujeres”, algo totalmente falso. Defiendo que no es preciso un gran cambio en los contenidos curriculares de esta materia para incluir a las filósofas, al contrario, las filósofas escriben sobre todo tipo de problemas filosóficos y, por ello, la Filosofía del primer curso, o la optativa de cuarto de la ESO, es una aliada perfecta para mostrar modelos a nuestras alumnas y mostrar a todo el alumnado que la filosofía no es solo un asunto de varones. Hay muchas filósofas, especialmente desde el siglo XIX, pero no solo, que han hecho importantes aportaciones y que los libros de texto suelen olvidar. Hay que hacer un ejercicio de voluntad y actualizar los materiales didácticos.

    The presence of female names in the History of Philosophy in the second year of high school has been claimed for some time, but less is said about their incorporation into Philosophy in the first year. On the other hand, the new curriculum for the first year of high school includes headings related to inequality between men and women, the invisibility of female thinkers and feminism, however, it is a mistake to think that female philosophers only write about these topics. If the entire inclusive approach stays at this, we would be making a big mistake since we could think that female philosophers only write about “things for women”, something totally false. I defend that a great change in the curricular contents of this subject is not necessary to include the women philosophers, on the contrary, the philosophers write about all kinds of philosophical problems and therefore, the Philosophy of the first year or the elective of 4th of ESO, is a perfect ally to show models to our students and show all students that philosophy is not just a matter for men. There are many female philosophers, especially since the 19th century but not only, who have made important contributions and which textbooks tend to forget. It is necessary to do an exercise of will and update the didactic materials.
