Resumen de La experiencia museística del patrimonio del IES Isabel la Católica de Madrid

  El proyecto de musealización del patrimonio del IES Isabel la Católica se remonta a 2006 cuando se empezó a recuperar el patrimonio del Instituto-Escuela, cuya Sección Retiro ocupó, entre 1928 y 1936, el edificio más antiguo de sus actuales instalaciones. Este ambicioso proyecto se inició con la ordenación y catalogación del archivo, la biblioteca y los laboratorios históricos de Biología y Geología del Instituto-Escuela, en los que se centralizó y se puso en valor el material conservado del experimento pedagógico que dicha institución llevó a cabo. Desde entonces, la biblioteca y los laboratorios históricos se convirtieron en espacios museísticos, donde se realizan actividades de difusión y uso didáctico del patrimonio del Instituto-Escuela. Después del paréntesis obligatorio de la pandemia, en 2021 continuó ese trabajo de recuperación, sumándole un nuevo proyecto: la catalogación y musealización del patrimonio del Instituto Isabel la Católica.

  The project for the musealization the heritage of the IES Isabel la Católica dates back to 2006 when we began to recover the heritage of the Institute-School, whose Retiro Section occupied, between 1928 and 1936, the oldest building of its current facilities. This ambitious project began with the organization and cataloging of the archive, the library and the historical Biology and Geology laboratories of the Institute-School, in which we centralized and valued the material that is preserved from the pedagogical experiment that was carried out. Since then, the library and historical laboratories became museum spaces, where we carried out dissemination activities and didactic use of the Institute-School's heritage. After the mandatory parenthesis of the pandemic, in 2021 we continue with this recovery work, to which we added a new project: the cataloging and museumization of the heritage of the Isabel la Católica Institute
