El escepticismo hermenéutico de Hans Blumenberg y la metáfora de la legibilidad y del desciframiento en el pensamiento barroco de Baltasar Gracián

    El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo general estudiar las relaciones que se establecen entre la metáfora de la legibilidad del mundo, tal y como la desarrolla Hans Blumenberg en su metafolología hermenéutica, y las nociones de “mundo cifrado” y de “desciframiento”, tal y como se presenta de manera general en el pensamiento barroco de Baltasar Gracián, y en su obra El Criticón, de manera más específica. Para ello será preciso incidir en el giro antropológico y retórico que supone la filosofía de Blumenberg. La metáfora y el mito, como ejes centrales de este giro implican el distanciamiento de cualquier tipo de absolutismo de la realidad y la posibilidad de convertir al mundo en algo accesible y legible. Del mismo modo, en el barroco hispano de Gracián el mundo se ha visto sometido a un vaciado de sentido quedando envuelto en un halo de engaño que lo cifra y que reclama la tarea filosófica, moral y vital del desciframiento. El trabajo se detiene a evaluar las conexiones y las divergencias de estos dos planteamientos hermenéuticos.

    The general aim of this paper is to study the relations established between the metaphor of the legibility of the world, as developed by Hans Blumenberg in his hermeneutic metaphorology, and the notions of "encrypted world" and "decipherment", as presented in a general way in the baroque thought of Baltasar Gracián, and more specifically in his work El Criticón. In order to do so, it will be necessary to emphasise the anthropological and rhetorical turn that Blumenberg's philosophy entails. Metaphor and myth, as the central axes of this turn, imply the distancing of reality from any kind of absolutism and the possibility of turning the world into something accessible and legible. In the same way, in Gracián's Hispanic ba-roque, the world has been subjected to an emptying of meaning, becoming enveloped in a halo of deception that encrypts it and calls for the philosophical, moral and vital task of deci-phering it. This paper assesses the connections and divergences between these two herme-neutic approaches.
