En los últimos años se ha dado un nuevo impulso en la historiografía que trata la historia de la fotografía gallega. Presentamos en este texto, en primer lugar, una primera catalogación de las fotografías más antiguas de las que tenemos conocimiento y una relación de los fotógrafos pioneros que actuaron en nuestra comunidad, centrándonos en la biografía de uno de los más desconocidos: Claude Dubois. Por otro lado, fijamos nuestra atención también en el trabajo desarrollado por las mujeres dentro de este sector a lo largo del siglo XIX, especialmente el de aquellas aragonesas establecidas en Galicia.

In recent years there has been a new boost in the historiography dealing with the history of Galicianphotography. We present in this text, firstly, an initial cataloging of the oldest photographs knownby us and a list of the pioneering photographers who worked in our country, focusing on the biography of one of the least known: Claude Dubois. On the other hand, we also focus our attention onthe work carried out by women within this sector throughout the 19th century, especially from thoseof Aragonese origin established in Galicia.
