In Rambla de Picacho (Mazarrón), it has been preserved an interesting heritage complex linked to the traditionaluse of water for agricultural development. It is a unique set of hydraulic constructions for the storage and distributionof water for irrigation. The presence of these elements, adapted to the orography and, on occasions, carryingout certain anthropic modifications of the terrain, together with the surrounding landscape of the banks of the dryriverbed and the arid Sierra de las Moreras, generate a peculiar cultural landscape of great ethnographic value.Its cultural values motivate the interest of an intervention to restore these elements, stopping their progressivedeterioration.

En la rambla de Picacho (Mazarrón), se localiza un interesante conjunto patrimonial vinculado al uso tradicionaldel agua para el desarrollo agrario. Se trata de un conjunto singular de canalizaciones y construccioneshidráulicas asociadas para el almacenamiento y distribución de agua para riego. La presencia de estos elementosconstructivos adaptados a la orografía y, en ocasiones, llevando a cabo ciertas modificaciones antrópicasdel terreno, junto al paisaje circundante de la ribera de la rambla y la árida sierra de las Moreras, generan unpeculiar paisaje cultural de gran valor etnográfico. Los interesantes valores culturales asociados al conjunto delos canales del Picacho motivan el interés de una intervención que intente restaurar estos elementos, frenandosu progresivo deterioro..
